Backup Cache Drive

On Windows machines, the BKP365 Connect desktop software temporarily stores the files while working on backing them up in the BackupCache folder. The default location of this folder is:

%Appdata%\BKP365 Connect\BKP365 Connect\Jobs\{6E820F39-1F0F-4C22-A9F6-5E7CAE6F6FA7}\Data\BackupCache

You can change this default location by doing the following:

  1. Open your BKP365 Connect desktop software.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. From Settings, go to Preferences → Refer to the General tab → Click on Change Cache Drive button.
  4. Select the drive that you want BKP365 Connect to temporarily cache the files to it and then Save the changes.

BKP365 Connect will move the files from the old to the new location, and a hidden folder with the name _BKP365 ConnectCache will be created on the drive that you have selected.
